Delhi Police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) against Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) president Aishe Ghosh, who was brutally attacked by masked goons in JNU campus on Sunday evening.
Police have also filed the FIR against several other JNU students, along with Ghosh, on the basis of a complaint filed by the JNU administration for vandalizing the server room on Saturday.
It may be mentioned here that the FIR has been registered at a time when Delhi Police is yet to take action against the miscreants who vandalized JNU’s hostel property and brutally assaulted students by dragging them out of their rooms.

Delhi Police’s FIR against the JNU students have raised eyebrows as it is yet to establish and arrest the goons who went on a rampage on Sunday. However, initial investigations revealed the involvement of JNUSU as well as ABVP workers. According to students of JNU, there were ABVP, Bajrang Dal and RSS-backed goons whose intentions were only to terrorize the students.
JNUSU president Aishe Ghosh was among the ones seriously injured when the goons unleashed terror in the JNU campus with rods and sticks. Around 30 people were injured in the incident on Sunday.
