Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni kick-started his 2-month break and joined his 106 Infantry Battalion on Thursday as he promised of training with Parachute Regiment of the Indian Army.
Reportedly, Former team captain will be with his Territorial Army unit of the Parachute Regiment (106 Para TA battalion) in Kashmir from July 31 to August 15. He will undertake duties of patrolling, guard and post duty and will be staying with the troops.

Dhoni holds the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army.
Dhoni reported at its headquarters in Bengaluru completing his pending appearance which was in transit.
It is to be mentioned that before the announcement of India's tour to the West Indies, the former Indian skipper informed the BCCI about a two-month break - to train with his territorial army battalion of the Parachute Regiment.
As per reports, the training of the daring Indian batsman commenced on Wednesday Wednesday in the Bengaluru headquarters. Dhoni's plan to join his battalion was pending due to his packed cricketing commitments with the national side and Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
