"Goli Maro Saalo Ko": BJP Leader Demands Police to Shoot Down CAA Protesters; will Police Arrest Him?BJP

Guwahati, December 21, 2019:

Terming it as a “peaceful protest”, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kapil Mishra led a pro-Citizenship (Amendment) Act rally in the streets of Delhi shouting slogans of: “Desh Ke Gaddaron Goli Maro Saalo Ko” (translation: shoot the traitors of the nation).

A video surfaced in the social media that was shared by Kapil Mishra himself last night on verified. In the video the BJP leader could be seen marching in the streets of Delhi chanting “Desh Ke Gaddaron Goli Maro Saalo Ko”.

Sharing the video, he captioned it, “हम भी सड़क पर उतर चुके हैं…. कोई गलतफहमी ना पाले… संसद में जीतना आता हैं तो सड़क पर भी जीतना आता हैं… दिल्ली के हजारों युवाओं के साथ आज मैं भी सड़क पर हूँ…. नागरिकता कानून के समर्थन में युवाओं की शांतिपूर्ण मार्च…. #ISupportCAA_NRC (We have also taken to the streets, there should be no misunderstanding about this. If we can win in the Parliament, we can definitely win on the street. Today I am also on the road with Delhi's youths, holding a peaceful march in support of citizenship law.)

This action of the BJP leader and his supporters has now raised the eyebrows of the people across the nation against the Delhi police, and the BJP party, as such chants might incite violence.

Meanwhile, Twitterati has demanded the Delhi Police to take strict action against the BJP members.

Meanwhile, the student fraternity has turned down heavily against the Delhi police for assaulting students who were peacefully protesting against the C(A)A. Many of the users tweeted that the Delhi police would join Kapil Mishra’s rally, which calls for violence against dissenters.

It is to be mentioned here that the entire country is facing an uprising against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill. The protests also reported a total death of 20 people across India, including teenage youths who joined the protest.
