Google has fired total 48 employees accused for sexual harassment in the last two years as reported on Thursday.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and head of Human Resource wrote in a companywide memo which includes 13 senior managers.
The memo attempted to assure employees in the wake of an article published in an international newspaper about Andy Rubin, the co-creator of Android; to have received $90 million to leave the company quietly in 2014 after the firm found credible reports of sexual assault allegation by an employee he dated. It described, “We review every single complaint about sexual harassment or inappropriate conduct.”
However, significant documents were found for the exit package mention in the emails to have paid ten million to Rubin and millions to another executive.
