Hurriyat Conference Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq to appear before NIA in Delhi

J&K, April 7, 2019:

Chairman Hurriyat Conference (M), Mirwaiz Umar Farooq will be appearing before the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday at New Delhi headquarters regarding the alleged militancy funding case.

The NIA had assured him of proper security cover.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq will be accompanied by other Hurriyat leaders including Professor Abdul Gani Bhat, Bilal Gani Lone, and Masroor Abbas Ansari.

The decision came after a threadbare meeting of all the Hurriyat leaders, activists, and AAC leaders and members at Mirwaiz Manzil Nigeen

In a statement issued to press, the Hurriyat has appealed masses to control emotions at this juncture.
