The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Monday has clarified that its Chairman K Sivan does not have any personal social media account.
Taking it to the official social media handle, ISRO said in a tweet: “It is noticed that accounts in the name of Kailasavadivoo Sivan is operational on many social media. This is to clarify that Dr. K Sivan, Chairman, ISRO, does not have any personal accounts.”
On the other hand, the officials of the space agency of India said that any update relating to Chandrayaan 2 that includes the status of the moon lander Vikram that crash-landed on the lunar surface on Saturday, will be announced on the organization’s official website.
It is to be mentioned that on Sunday, a tweet surfaced in the social media handle with the user ID Kailasavadivoo Sivan which said, “We’ve found the location of Vikram Lander on lunar surface&orbiter has clicked a thermal image of Lander. But there is no communication yet. We are trying to have contact. It will be communicated soon. #Chandrayaan2”.
