Pulwama mastermind and Jaish-e-Mohammed Chief Masood Azhar’s brothers Hamad Azhar, Mufti Abdul Rafoor along with 44 other members belonging to banned terrorist groups have been detained by Pakistan.
According to an official order, a high-level meeting was held in the Pakistan Ministry of Interior on Monday which was attended by representatives of all Provincial Governments in order to implement a 'National Action Plan' (NAP).
In the meeting, it was decided to speed up the action against all proscribed organizations, including Jaish. In compliance to this, 44 under-observation members of the proscribed organizations including Mufti Abdul Rafoor and Hamad Azhar have been detained for investigation.
These actions will continue, as per the decisions taken by the National Security Committee (NSC) while reviewing NAP.
