'Howdy, Modi' witnessed a series of veiled verbal attacks by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan for allegedly nurturing terrorism in the neighboring country.
The allegations were made while addressing the 50,000 strong audiences at the event in Houston on Sunday with United States President Donald Trump.

Pointing indirectly at Pakistan, PM Modi said that the move to scrap provisions under Article 370 bothered only those who "cannot even take care of their own country".
Modi mentioned, “Some people have issues with the abrogation of Article 370, and the same people cannot govern their own country.”
He also alleged that the same people are providing a shield to terrorism and nurturing it.
“The whole world knows them very well. Their identity is in the sponsorship of terror and the world knows it,” Modi added.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump vowed to protect innocent civilians from the threat of radical Islamic terrorism and said border security will be strengthened. Trump announced that the two countries will soon sign several defence deals to boost their relationship.
