Prime Minister Narendra Modi alleged Congress party as supporters of the anti-national elements and said the congress manifesto is based on lies and named it as “Dakosla patra”.
Addressing a gathering at Pasighat stadim in Arunachal Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi escalating his attack on the Congress said, “The Congress has always lied and their manifesto is also based on lies. This is not called ‘Ghosna Patra’ (manifesto), rather it is called ‘Dakosla Patra’. In 2004 manifesto of the Congress party assured that by 2009 every house will receive electricity but when I came into power in 2012, nearly eighteen thousand villages were under darkness and crores of people did not see light. In 2009, again they promised the same but till 2014, nothing was done. Whereas, when I was voted into power, within 1000 days the promise of proving electricity was fulfilled.”
Moreover, he questioned that whether the Congress party is with the country or with the anti national element and said, “The Congress has made schemes for the anti-national elements of the country like those burning the tri-colour and on speaking against the country.”
