Bengaluru, February 21, 2020:

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Chief Owaisi was invited on the stage to address the gathering in the capital city of Bengaluru. Soon after, the girl, identified as Amulya was called on the stage for her speech. The audience at Owaisi’s rally was left speechless when “Pakistan Zindabad” slogan echoed in the rally.

Several people, including Owaisi himself came forward to stop her from chanting the “prohibited” slogan in India. Amulya Leenu, in her 20s, has now been charged with sedition for expressing her views.

It needs mention here that in a Facebook post, dated February 16, Amulya, had written, Long Live India! Long Live Pakistan! Long Live Bangladesh! Long Live Sri Lanka! Long live Nepal! Long live Afghanistan! Long Live China! Long Live Bhutan! Whatever country may be - long live for all the countries!”

However, before Amulya could continue with her speech and explain on what basis she started with the statement, she was dragged away by the police.

AIMIM chief Owaisi also rushed to snatch the mike from her hands and was joined by others who tried to remove her from the state.

He went on to clarify that he did not agree with the woman. “Neither me nor my party has any link with her. We denounce her. The organisers should not have invited her here [Bengaluru rally]. If I knew this, I would not have come here. We are for India and we no way support our enemy nation Pakistan. Our entire drive is to save India,” Owaisi said in his clarification.
