Guwahati, February 18, 2018:

Amid heightened tensions in the subcontinent after the Jaish-e-Mohammed –orchestrated terror attack in Kashmir’s Pulwama district that martyred as many as 42 CRPF jawans, a suicide bombing has claimed the lives of at least nine Pakistan Army soldiers. According to reports, eleven soldiers have been wounded in the attack.

Responsibility for the attack, which was carried out in a region Turbat and Panjgur in Balochistan province, has been claimed by the Baloch Raji Ajoi Sangar (BRAS), a conglomeration of three groups which demand freedom for Balochistan, namely the Baloch Liberation Army, the Baloch Liberation Front, and the Baloch Republican Guard.

According to sources, the fighters of BRAS attacked the Pakistani security forces patrolling team as well as a camp on Sunday morning.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Revolutionary guards have accused the Pakistan security forces of supporting terrorist activities as 27 Iranian troops fell victim to a suicide attack on Wednesday.
