SRINAGAR: Three Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) militants were reportedly killed during an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on Saturday.
Based on the inputs about the presence of militants a cordon and a search operation was launched by security forces in the upper reaches of the Nagbaeran forest area in the south Kashmir district.

Reportedly, the militants fired the search party of the security forces who, in retaliation, fired back.
"In the ensuing gunfight, three terrorists affiliated with JeM outfit were killed," the officials said.
They further stated that the search operation is still going on.
