In the latest incident of poll-related violence, a bombing incident has occurred in the state of West Bengal during the third phase of polling. At least three people were left injured on Tuesday after a crude bomb was hurled at them by unidentified men in Domkal municipality in Murshidabad, West Bengal.

It has been reported that the injured persons are members of the Trinamool Congress (TMC). They have been rushed to a nearby hospital.
A similar incident was reported from West Bengal's Malda South constituency's Kaliachawk area where a couple of bike-borne miscreants hurled bombs outside a polling station. The perpetrators could not be identified since they were wearing helmets.
It may be mentioned that five Constituencies in the Eastern Indian state - Balurghat, Maldaha Uttar, Maldaha Dakshin, Jangipur, and Murshidabad - are headed to the polls during the third phase of polling.
