After Indian Air Force (IAF) uprooted the biggest Jaish training camp in Balakot during the pre-dawn hours on Tuesday in a pre-emptive ‘non-military’ strike, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Major General, Asif Ghafoor claimed that the PAF shot down two Indian aircrafts inside Pakistani airspace and arrested one Indian pilot.
Asif Ghafoor, who is the Spokesperson of PAF, made the claims through his twitter account about the arrest and taking down of two aircrafts belonging to the Indian Air Force.
Ghafoor tweeted: “In response to PAF strikes this morning as released by MoFA, IAF crossed LOC. PAF shot down two Indian aircrafts inside Pakistani airspace. One of the aircrafts fell inside AJ&K while other fell inside IOK. One Indian pilot arrested by troops on ground while two in the area.”
