The All India Petroleum Dealer Association (AIPDA) has announced to give a discount of 50 paise per liter of petrol for those who cast their votes during the ensuing elections in the country.
To encourage the people to exercise their voting rights, the AIPDA has launched a campaign called “Promote Voting”.
The offer will be made available from 8 am to 8 pm at the fuel station for those who cast their vote and have indelible ink on their finger. A consumer can fill up to 20 liters of fuel on that day. This financial burden will be taken care of by the dealers, not the oil companies.
As per the announcement, 90 percent of about 58000 dealers will participate in the campaign.
