As Ayodhya eagerly counts down to the monumental consecration of Lord Ram in the grand Ram temple on January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has heightened the fervor by praising a soul-stirring Ram Bhajan performed by the talented singer Swasti Mehul. The anticipation for the event is reaching a crescendo, with the whole nation eagerly awaiting this auspicious moment.
Swasti Mehul's devotional song dedicated to Lord Ram has become a sensation, resonating deeply with listeners across the country. Prime Minister Modi, impressed by the spiritual resonance of the bhajan, took to Twitter to express his admiration. In a tweet in Hindi, he wrote, "If you listen to this Bhajan of Swasti Ji once, it keeps resonating in the ears for a long time. It fills the eyes with tears and the mind with emotions." The tweet garnered nearly 300,000 views within an hour, catapulting Swasti Mehul into the national spotlight.
Amidst the growing enthusiasm, preparations for the consecration ceremony are in full swing. Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha (consecration) of Ram Lalla will commence on January 16, a week before the main event. The main rituals will be conducted by priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit from Varanasi on January 22, marking the culmination of the week-long Amrit Mahautsav.
To accommodate the anticipated influx of devotees, Ayodhya is set to host a 1008 Hundi Mahayagya, where thousands will be partaking in the sacred feast. Tent cities are being erected to house the expected throngs of devotees, with the Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust making arrangements for 10,000-15,000 attendees.
