Rahul Gandhi claims 25 lakh fake voters in Haryana, says ‘Brazilian Model’ among duplicates

Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, on November 5, alleged large-scale voter fraud in Haryana, claiming that a Brazilian model’s photograph was found linked to multiple fake voter identities across the state.

Speaking at a public event, Gandhi said the Congress lost the election in Haryana by 22,000 votes — a margin he attributed to a “centralised fake voter operation.”

He alleged that the same woman’s photograph appeared in at least 10 different booths under various names, symbolising the extent of the manipulation.

“Who is this lady? She votes 22 times in Haryana, in 10 different booths. She has multiple names. That means this is a centralised operation,” Gandhi said, holding up a picture as he addressed the gathering. “The lady is a Brazilian model — that’s a stock photograph — and she is one of 25 lakh such records in Haryana.”

The Congress leader said the discovery points to a “deep-rooted conspiracy” aimed at undermining the democratic process. “We are not talking about an isolated incident. This is an organised attempt to distort the mandate of the people,” he added.

Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi says, "...We have crystal clear proof that 25 lakh voters (in Haryana) are fake, that they either don't exist or they are duplicate or are designed in a way for anybody to vote...1 in 8 voters in Haryana are fake, that's 12.5%..."

As the controversy grows, social media has erupted with memes and debates — with users dubbing the alleged voter the “Runway Voter of Haryana.”
