Rahul Gandhi's "Aam Aadmi" journey: Travels by train from Bilaspur to Raipur in Chhattisgarh

Former Congress president and Member of Parliament Rahul Gandhi embarked on a unique journey in Chhattisgarh, choosing to travel like an "Aam Aadmi" (common people) by train. The Congress leader boarded a passenger or sleeper-class train to travel from Bilaspur to Raipur.

Rahul Gandhi's decision to travel by train drew attention as he opted for a mode of transport commonly used by the general public. His journey started from Bilaspur, and he is scheduled to return to Raipur by the LTT Express at 5 pm later today.

While the Congress party had made train travel arrangements for Rahul Gandhi's tour to Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel expressed concerns about the frequent cancellations of passenger trains in the state. He suggested that Rahul Gandhi consider traveling from Raipur to Bilaspur by road and return by train due to these ongoing disruptions.

"The way the trains are being canceled, I would suggest him to go to Bilaspur by road and return by train due to the frequent delays and cancellations," Baghel told reporters, taking a dig at the BJP. He criticized the railway minister's visibility only during rail accidents and emphasized the Prime Minister's attention when inaugurating train services.
