Two arrested for abusing dog inside Thane's pet clinic, video surfaces

Two people were arrested after a video of them abusing a dog at a pet clinic in Maharashtra’s Thane went viral. 

They were seen punching the dog several times and kicking. A police complaint was lodged regarding the incident on February 13. 

The incident took place at a pet clinic which specialises in grooming and care, located in R Mall in Thane. 

The dog breed is identified as a Chow Chow. In the video, a pet staffer was seen repeatedly punching the dog on its face and back. 

Even the man who was filming the act was also seen punching the dog while the animal struggled. 

After that, the dog was seen getting down from the stretcher and walking out of the room even as the man kicked it. The viral video has triggered outrage from various people, including several Bollywood actors.
