West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee encountered a mishap while boarding a helicopter in Durgapur on April 27. Amidst the boarding process, she slipped and incurred a minor injury, promptly receiving assistance from her security personnel.
Undeterred by the setback, she chose to continue her scheduled journey to Asansol.
This incident marks the second occasion within a relatively short span of six weeks where Banerjee has faced injury. On March 14, she suffered a more severe accident at her Kalighat residence in Kolkata, resulting in significant injuries to her forehead and nose.
The severity of the injuries necessitated her admission to a hospital for several hours to receive medical attention and care.
