Hamro Sikkim Party VP arrested for circulating forged documents

Guwahati, November 15, 2018:

Vice-president of Hamro Sikkim Party (HSP) Gopal Pathak has been arrested by the Sikkim police for allegedly circulating fake documents related to Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling in the social media platforms.

The accused was arrested from the Rhenock East Sikkim area against a case filed at the Sadar Police Station.

Reportedly, Pathak was arrested after he uploaded some fake documents on social media. 

As per the the FIR, the document being circulated has been forged and was circulated to defame the image of the CM and encourage enmity and hatred between different caste and communities of the people within the state.
