GANGTOK: The construction of Uttarey to Chewabhanjyang part of the International Indo- Nepal road has been completed. The first track of under construction work of 18 kilometre road from Uttarey westernmost part of Sikkim to connect the eastern part of Nepal has completed.
After the completion of the project, a team led by SKM Area In-charge Purna Hang Subba, SKM's Organizational General Secretary Sudesh Limboo, Incharge for Press and Publicity ( West Sikkim) Milan Samarpan, Social Worker Laten Sherpa, contractor, journalists, etc went to Chewbhanjyang in SK vehicle.

The new construction is expected to open a new dimension in tourism will open as there are many places where tourist can go after the functioning of road.
