SIKKIM: PAKYONG AIRPORT TO JOIN THE AVIATION NETWORK OF THE COUNTRY

The Pakyong Airport of  Sikkim,the first greenfield airport of the North Eastern region, got license  for scheduled operations. It’s an engineering marvel at a height of more than 4,500 ft in a tough terrain.

Civil aviation Suresh Prabhu took to twitter to announce the obtaining of the license of the Pakyong Airport on Friday to start commercial operation.He stated that this will pave way for direct connectivity of Sikkim, giving boost to tourism and economic growth.
