GANGTOK: Sikkim recieved its 2nd batch of COVISHIELD vaccine today at around 4:30 P.M. The state recieved its second batch of 1400 vials (14000 doses) of COVID-19 vaccine.

The vaccine was received by Assistant Engineer Biomedical cum Cold chain Officer and his Team.

Reportedly, the vaccine is stored in Walk in Cooler of Universal Immunization Program (UPI) Store, Cold Chain Section in STNM Complex.

Sikkim recieved its first batch of COVISHIELD on January 13.

A total of 12,500 doses arrived from the Serum Institute of India (SII) for the vaccination drive.
