Sikkim: Fire erupts at Gangtok's Tashi Delek Hotel building, no casualties reported

A fire erupted at the basement area of the building where Gangtok's iconic Tashi Delek Hotel is located, on January 24 evening. 
 

The hotel is located at New Market area, in Sikkim's Gangtok.
 

Upon receiving information, emergency services promptly rushed to the location and doused the fire on time.
 

The swift response averted any major damage and no casualties were reported.
 

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, however, investigation is underway. Further details are awaited.  
 

Earlier, a massive fire broke out near Ganday Jhora in Sichey, Sikkim, early morning on January 23.
 

The incident, which occurred around 4 am, prompted immediate response from emergency services as intensifying flames rapidly spread and engulfed the area.
 

Firefighters arrived at the scene and managed to contain the blaze after a rigorous operation.
