Sikkim's Shyamashree Sherpa welcomed back home after her film was screened at Cannes

Shyamashree Sherpa, the producer and actor of "Tara - The Lost Star," was warmly welcomed at Rangpo upon her return to Sikkim on May 25. She attended the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in France, representing India with the Sikkimese movie "Tara - The Lost Star," sponsored by the NFDC.

As the founder of SADA Production, Sherpa made history by screening the first Sikkimese-Nepali film at the world's largest film festival, Marché Du Film, Cannes de Festival.

This milestone marks a significant achievement for Sikkim, highlighting its cultural presence on a global stage.
