6th Tulsi Govinda Baruah Memorial Media T-20 cricket Tournament ended

Guwahati, January 9, 2018:

The 6th Tulsi Govinda Baruah Memorial Media T-20 cricket Tournament held at Judges’ field came to an end on Wednesday.

The event was organized in memory of the former chairman of ‘Assam Tribune’, Lt. Tulsi Govinda Baruah who passed away on November 18, 2018.

In the final match between News Live and Dainik Janambhumi, Dainik Janambhumi won the toss and decided to bat and scored 113 runs in 20 Overs with a downfall of eight wickets.

Whereas News live scored 117 runs in 14 overs with a downfall of three wickets and with that News Live won by seven wickets and Bikash Chetry of News Live was entitled as Man of the Match.

The other achievements like Man of the series was achieved by Ranjit Changmai of News Live, Best Batsman was Anupam Mehta of News Live, Bikash Chetry was entitled as the Best Bowler, Ranjit Changmai with 12 and the highest sixes of News Live and Prabhakar Saikia being the best fielder from GL publications were the achievers of the 6th Tulsi Govinda Baruah Memorial Media T-20 cricket Tournament.
