ACA Starts Building Pavilion, Wickets in Biswanath Ground

GUWAHATI: Assam Cricket Association (ACA) secretary Devajit Saikia today laid the foundation stone of a cricket pavilion at Biswanath District Sports Association playground as part of ACA’s infrastructure development programme.

Under the programme cricket infrastructure is being developed in various districts of Assam for the development of the game. Apart from the pavilion, the ACA will also develop 10 turf wickets in the ground. The project is expected to be completed within the next four-five months.

The foundation laying ceremony was attended among others by Biswanath MLA Promod Borthakur, ACA treasurer Tridip Konwar, BDSA president Apurba Kumar Das and general secretary Ratul Saikia.
