ARUNACHAL PRADESH: VICTORY SURROUNDS ARUNACHAL WOMEN’S LEAGUE, DAY 2

The last year’s finalist Arunachal SC (ASC) has launched their Arunachal Women’s Football League campaign with a thumping victory against Deed Circle FC (DCFC) 5-0 in the first match of Day 2 of Arunachal Women’s League at the RG Stadium yesterday.

Kai Rumi scored a total of four goals (28th & 37th) to complete her first hat-trick of the League this year. One goal from Giani Ramching (35th) gave ASC a huge lead of the four goals by the end of first half. In the second half, and DCFC were no way near to get a comeback in the match.

The second match of the day was played between Upper Subansiri DFA and All Hija Sports Association (AHSA) in which former won the match by 3-1 goals.

Sanjana Nguki gave lead to USDFA in the play. Just before the half time Kago Asung of AHSA narrowed the margin with a well taken long range shot. The second half saw attacks from both teams but it was USDFA who got the only goal of the half through Bindya Maying.
