Mukhtar Hussain, a 20-year-old Indian cricketer who made his List A debut for Assam in the 2017–18 Vijay Hazare Trophy, played his way up to the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy where he continued his impressive performance by racking up 40 wickets in a mere 9 matches.
The youngster has now been selected by the MRF Pace Foundation to be a part of a two-week training programme starting from 11th May- 25th May 2019, in Australia.
The practice will be held in the National Cricket Academy in Brisbane, mentioned the MRF Head Coach, M.Senthilnathan. The coach also added that the team of young cricketers will be guided by acclaimed coach Troy Cooley which will be greatly beneficial for them.
