Assam's Bonita Kurmi and Seema Guwala shine in Asian Games Sambo

Assam’s Bonita Kurmi and Seema Guwala clichéd Gold and Silver Medal at Asian Games Sambo Championship 2019 held at Noida in Uttar Pradesh that was underway from September 12 to September 15.

Bonita Kurmi bagged Gold medal and Seema Guwala won Silver medal at Asian Games Sambo Championship 2019.

Following this, the All Adivasi Students Association of Assam(AASAA), Tinsukia District Committee have congratulated both the champions from Assam.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice President of AASAA Central Executive Committee and Ramamus Lakra General Secretary of AASAA Tinsukia district Committee said that both the winner who belong to Adivasi Community have brought Laurel to Assam and Adivasi Community in the Championship.

Ramanus Lakra said, “There are many talented Adivasi youths of Assam who are perfect in many sports but due to financial crunch they fail to move forward which I appeal Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal to provide Sports Scholarship to Adivasi Community Boys and Girls which will be a great achievement for us and all the people of Assam.”
