Sikkim: National Cricket Academy (NCA) coach Atul Gaikwad certified by the England Cricket Board, Cricket Australia and BCCI as 'master-level coach' and high-performance coach has visited the Himalayan state of Sikkim to conduct coaching camps and district tours in the State.
Atul Gaikwad has 30 years of coaching experience at the highest level. His tour of Sikkim shall be for a period of three months.
Coaching camps for women have commenced from today.

“My tour of Sikkim was purely out of a passion for the sport and to nurture and encourage talent. I was also motivated to visit the beautiful state because of the people of Sikkim as well as the very high standards Sikkim Cricket Association is setting in terms of development and management of Cricket even when compared at a national level. My vision has aligned with SICA’s vision, I genuinely feel that together we will create a vibrant culture which will produce a minimum of 1 international cricketer in the next 10 years," Gaikwad said.
Sikkim Cricket Association, on the other hand, thanked Dr. Atul Gaikwad for volunteering to offer his services and immense experience in the field of cricket for the benefit of the people of Sikkim free of cost as well as agreeing to hold the position of Honorary Director of Coaching at the SICA.
