Australia, which also played the host to Women's T20 World Cup, 2020, won the game for the fifth time by defeating the Indian team by 85 runs in the summit clash at the MCG on Sunday.
Australia opened with batting and was able to score half centuries by openers Alyssa Healy (75) and Beth Mooney (78 not out) to post 184 for four before their bowlers, led by Megan Schutt (4/18) and Jess Jonassen (3/20).

India, on the other hand, could post just 99 in 19.1 overs in its first final of the T20.
