BCCI may ask ICC to keep Pakistan out of World Cup, 2019

Guwahati, February 21, 2019:

In the light of recent terror attack on CRPF convoys at Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) may ask International Cricket Council (ICC) to ban Pakistan from 2019, 50 over World Cup.

Vinod Rai, Committee of Administrators (CoA) Chairman has asked Rahul Johri, CEO, BCCI through a letter to keep Pakistan out of World Cup 2019.

Vinod Rai also asked Johri that the letter should mention that India has no interest to engage in cricket with Pakistan.

It may be mentioned that Indian cricket star Harbhajan Singh and Cricket Club of India (CCI) which is country’s one of the oldest clubs has also decided to take a stand for the nation and joined the calls for the national team and will stay away from the June 16 match in Britain as Indians have accused Pakistan of not doing enough of its extent to stop militants from operating in its soil.
