Cricket World Cup 2019: Schedule for the Day

London, June 1, 2019:

The greatest carnival of cricket, the Cricket World Cup is underway in the originating country of the gentleman's game, England and two very exciting clashes are lined up for the spectators on the third day of the gentleman's game's gala event.

Today is the third day of the event, and four teams -- New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Australia, and Afghanistan will kickstart their campaign today.

On the third day of the ICC World Cup 2019, New Zealand will face off against Sri Lanka at Cardiff, while the defending champions Australia will take on Afghanistan today at Bristol.

Schedule: 

New Zealand vs Sri Lanka: 3 PM (IST)

Australia vs Afghanistan: 6 PM (IST)

It may be mentioned that while England beat South Africa by 104 runs in tournament opener, West Indies thrashed Pakistan by 7 wickets in the 2nd match of the tournament. The Virat Kohli-led Indian cricket team will open their campaign against South Africa on May 5 at the Rose Bowl in Southampton.
