New Delhi: Former captain of the Indian Cricket team Kapil Dev has been hospitalised on Friday morning after suffering a massive heart attack and is now undergoing angioplasty surgery at Fortis Escort Hospital in New Delhi.
Ashok Malhotra, president of Indian Cricketers Association (ICA) informed, “He is feeling okay now. I just spoke to his wife (Romi). He was feeling uneasy yesterday. He is undergoing check-ups at a hospital as we speak.”

It has been learnt that the cricketer was also dealing with diabetes-related health issues.
The news of Kapil Dev’s heart attack has left the entire social media shocked as fans took to different platforms to wish him speedy recovery.
However, details on the 61-year-old cricketer’s health are eagerly awaited now since his family members are yet to give an update about the same.
Kapil Dev was also in the news and had emerged as a top trend on social media a few months ago for flaunting a new look.
