India’s Rahi Sarnobat wins gold in women’s 25m pistol

Guwahati (Assam), Aug 22, 2018:

India’s Rahi Sarnobat has clinched gold in women’s 25 metre pistol event at the 18^th Asian Games in Jakarta Palembang in Indonesia on Wednesday.

Back in the shooting arena after a prolonged elbow injury, the young shooter came out firing on all cylinders practically to win the coveted yellow medal.

Her victory has been widely hailed by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and BJP president Amit Shah, among a host of other leaders and sports personalities.
