Day two of the 6th International Veteran Football Championship witnessed eight matches being played in Guwahati, with Kokrajhar Veteran Club and localites Narengi FC emerging as winners.
Veteran FC Jessore from Bangladesh was outclassed by Delhi Sunday Club with a solitary goal in the first match, while Narengi FC pumped 4 goals into the nets of Silchar Veteran Club, who could reply with a lone goal.

Strengthened with three National Coaches, CMG Club Kathmandu Nepal drew blank against United Veteran Club Kolkata. The outcome of Duliajan Veteran and Delhi Sunday Club too was scoreless.
Kokrajhar Veteran Club, however, outsmarted Jessore Bangladesh by three goals in their second matches for the day.
In a one sided affair, Narengi FC ran riot through the defense of Metro FC scoring 11 goals, while a hapless Metro side could only score a single goal.
In the last match of the day, United Veteran Kolkata ended the fog enveloped evening with three goals to one goal.

Former captain of Indian Football Baichung Bhutia enjoyed the high voltage games from the gallery of the SAI field. The ace footballer shall be in action for his home team United Veteran Sikkim on February 1, which will be day 3 of the 4-day tournament.
