Bolywood actor Rishi Kapoor has imagined a new design for World Cup Cricket championship trophy as the tournament is progressing amidst rains.
Kapoor, known for his witty remarks, uploaded “The new ICC Cricket World Cup design” - an image of a gold-plated & inverted umbrella from his twitter handle.
Rain God is playing the spoilsport in the ongoing ICC World Cup Cricket tournament in England. Cricket fans are annoyed as may matches were washed out.
Around 15,000 Indian fans reportedly came to Trent Bridge on Thursday to catch up on the India vs New Zealand match. But much to their chagrin the match was washed away without playing a single ball.
Rain has washed out play in four matches —not a ball was bowled in three— in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup in England. Another was truncated to 41 overs by the unusually heavy downpours that have left fans despondent.
Before Rishi Kapoor even Amitabh Bacchan expressed his displeasure and tweeted, “shift the tournament WC 2019 to India .. we need the rain.”
