Marathon Runner Samir Singh running for the cause of Martyrs of Central Police organisations was honored by Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

In a grand function organized on Sunday at Sector Headquarters ,Samir Singh , a marathon runner runned for the cause of generating awareness among public about Ministry of Home Affairs , Government of India website ‘ Bharat Ke Veer,’ launched for collection of fund for providing financial help to the family members of  Martyrs of Central Police organizations.

Speaking on this occasion Sh Anthony Thanmi , Deputy Inspector General, Sector Headquarters, Sashastra Seema Bal , said that have gathered to give their best wishes to Sh. Samir Singh for successful completion of his motivating long journey.

Samir Singh has started his run on 1st December, 2018 from Bagha , Punjab, situated on Indo-Pakistan Border. After that he has run more than 11000 kilometers parallel to the land and sea boundaries of country  through the states of Punjab , Haryana, Delhi, Rajsthan, Gujrat, Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka , Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh , Odisha, West Bengal , Assam , Meghlaya, Tripura, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh.

From Bongaigaon he will move parallel to international borders of country  through the states of Assam, West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh , Uttarakhand , Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and conclude his journey at Bagha Border , Punjab,  running approximately about 15000 Kilometer. This will be longest Marathon of World.
