Northeast United FC to Kickstart ISL Campaign with 'Bhoot Jolokia Fire'

Defending Indian Super League (ISL) champions Bengaluru FC will kickstart their campaign tomorrow at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium against Northeast United FC, the 'Bhoot Jolokia Fire' boys.

The Blues registered a come-from-behind win against NorthEast United FC in the two-legged playoff en route the final in the 2018-19 season.

Despite the departure of the stars of the previous season, NorthEast United FC have made substantial acquisitions and the defending champs remain wary of the Highlanders.

The 'Bhoot Jolokia Fire' side has been boosted by signing formidable players such as Asamoah Gyan, and will be looking to go one step further this season. It is to be mentioned that no side has been able to retain the ISL crown.
