Peishim Jajo, a mixed martial artist hailing from Dimapur in Nagaland, has brought laurels to the state by winning a Gold Medal in the senior category, Amateur MMA, at the recently concluded International Combat Games, which were held in New Delhi.

Peishim Jajo, who participated in the event on behalf of the the Ookami club in Dimapur, is the daughter of Shem Jajo, and the family resides in Dimapur.

It may be mentioned that the International Combat Games, 2019, was held from November 22 to 24, at the Talkatora Stadium in the national capital, and saw active participation from Martial arts exponents from across the country.
