NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared snippets of his conversation with the Indian Olympic team while hosting them for breakfast on Monday.
Modi highlights the significance of sports in the lives of youngsters while speaking with India's great boxers, Lovlina Borgohain and Mary Kom.

“Isn't it true that both of your sisters are boxers?" "Do you all fight with your words or solely via boxing at home?" the Prime Minister joked as Lovlina mentioned that one of her sisters is in the BSF and another in the CISF.
While Kom expressed regret for not winning a medal in the Tokyo Olympics, PM Modi praised her for bringing women's sports to the forefront in India for the past decade.
"Loss and wins are part of life," Modi encouraged her. You have made a significant contribution to the sports world, particularly in India. Women's sportswomen have risen to prominence as a result of your efforts.
"We miss you in the Parliament," PM Modi addressed to boxing champion Mary Kom.
"I was unable to attend owing to practise," the Rajya Sabha MP Kom responded.
