In a touching display of compassion, Afghanistan's talented batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz has given a heartfelt Diwali gift to the destitute people, illuminating the lives of those facing adversity. This heartwarming act comes on the heels of Afghanistan's exit from the World Cup race, a disappointment for the team and its supporters.
Following the team's defeat against Australia, signaling the end of their World Cup journey, Rahmanullah Gurbaz is now preparing to return to his homeland, Afghanistan. Despite the cricketing setback, Gurbaz's recent gesture off the field has garnered praise not only in India but around the globe.
Late at night, as Gurbaz traversed the streets in his car, he came across several individuals sleeping on the footpath. Touched by the sight of destitute people, the Afghan cricketer decided to spread joy on the festival of lights. Stepping out of his car, Gurbaz distributed Diwali gifts to those in need.
Carrying 500-rupee notes with him, Gurbaz personally handed out the notes to each person sleeping on the streets. In a simple yet profound act, the cricketer shared the spirit of Diwali, bringing light and warmth to those who often go unnoticed.
