AGARTALA: TIPPA chief and royal scion Pradyut Manikya today affirmed that an alliance for the forthcoming does not arise if there is no assurance to fulfill the demand for a Greater Tipraland.

"We are going to go with our own line and won't be bothered with the elections of Trinamool, Congress and BJP and we will maintain our own agenda. Whoever will give us assurance in writing of our demand we will think of an alliance with," he added.

That's a very clear line. A question of misleading the public does not arise. We are very capable of fighting on our own as we showed in the ADC polls. Even in the Assembly elections, if our demands are not met we will fight on our own and we will fight for 30 Seats and we will put up a fight.

Asked about the commonalities between his party and the Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP), Manikya said, "We have both opposed the CAA and have fought for the constitutional rights of the indigenous people. We are all for the implementation of the Assam Accord and the other Accords that have been signed by the government of India.

Manikya said that "illegal immigration" is the the Assam and Tripura as "illegal immigration has changed the complexion of both Assam and Tripura."
