AGARTALA: Trinamool Congress has launched 'Tripurar Jonno Trinamool' (TMC for Tripura) on Friday as a part of their outreach campaign ahead of civic body polls.
Talking about the campaign, newly elected Rajya Sabha MP Sushmita Dev and party member stated that workers will reach out to the people in these constituencies, interact and listen to their problems.
"The campaign is scheduled continue for 10-12 days covering all 60 assembly consituencies in 58 blocks of eight districts of Tripura", she added.

"TMC will off the programme Tripurar Jonno TMC in view of the upcoming municipal elections. We will go to every block and meet people", Dev said.
She further assured that there will be no violation of any COVID law.
Talking about the recent defacing of govt posters in Assamese in Silchar, the Trinamool Congress leader had earlier stated that she too doesn’t support the act. However, she further said that the hoardings ‘disrespected’ the Language Act.
