Tripura: TIPRA to contest in upcoming Civil Bodies Elections

AGARTALA: The Tiprasa Indigenous People’s regional Alliance (TIPRA) Chairman Pradyot Manikya on today announced that the party will contest in the upcoming civic bodies elections in Tripura for the very first time.

Informing the same, Manikya tweeted, “First time a regional party TIPRA is fighting elections in urban areas in the history of tripura - And we are here to win ! Times are changing”

The election to 20 urban local bodies, including Agartala Municipal Corporation in Tripura is scheduled to be held on November 25.

Counting will be held on November 28, which will commence at 8 am.
