BJP STATE PRESIDENT BIPLAB DEB FILES NOMINATION FOR TRIPURA ASSEMBLY ELECTION

The streets of Tripura on Wednesday turned into a political platform as the BJP and Congress both thronged the street for filing nomination. On the last day of nomination filing process the political parties have geared up with the procedure. As per the guidelines, today is the last day of filing nominations for the Tripura assembly elections. BJP state president Biplab Deb contesting from Banamalipur followed by several other candidates including Sunu Datta and other BJP candidates filed nomination to the returning officer. Hundreds of supporters accompanied the candidates to file their nomination.

Voting for 60 assembly seats is scheduled to take place on February 18, while results will be announced on March 3.
