POLITICAL PARTIES KICKS OFF CAMPAIGN FOR ASSEMBLY ELECTION IN TRIPURA

With just a few days left for the assembly election in Tripura, all the political parties have began with the election campaigning across the state. Tripura is now the eye ball for every party as the state is going for election on February 18 . Meanwhile without leaving a scope, Congress have also announced the names of the candidates who will be campaigning in the state ahead of the election. The star campaigner list of congress includes Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Dr. Manmohan Singh, CP Joshi, Anand Sharma and others.

On the other hand, with an aim to woo the voters ahead of the election BJP is all set to  welcome the heavy weight leaders in the state for the election campaign. PM Narendra Modi will be arriving in the state on February 8 and will hold rallies at Santirbajar and Kailashar. PM Narendra Modi will again come to state on February 15 to hold a rally at Agartala. Smiriti Irani, Nitin Gadkari, Home Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to held a rallies in Tripura.

However, CPI-M which is in power for past 20 year have already began the campaign with figures like Biman Basu, Suhasini Ali, Surjakanta Mishra besides others.

Voting for 60 assembly seats is scheduled to take place on February 18, while results will be announced on March 3.
