Tripura: 11 more corona positive, state tally crosses 200

11 people found covid19 positive in Tripura on Tuesday taking the tally of the state to 206 cases.

Out of the 11 cases, 10 people have returned from Mumbai, #Maharashtra by train and 1 person is a family member of BSF personnel of 86th Battalion.

Assam has the highest number of confirmed coronavirus cases followed by Tripura in NE.

India cases so far

The novel coronavirus has infected over 1.45 lakh people and claimed over 4,167 lives as on May 26, 2020, morning, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. There are 80722 active cases with 60490 cases discharged and cured.

Among the states, Maharashtra is the first state to cross a thousand deaths. It has recorded 50,231 corona cases with 14,600 cured and 1635 deaths. The western state is followed by Gujarat and Tamil Nadu. Gujarat has corona 14,056 cases with 6412 cured and 858 deaths. Tamil Nadu has registered 16,277 cases with 8324 cured and 111 deaths. The National Capital with 13,418 COVID-19 cases has crossed the 10 thousand mark on May 25^th, 2020. So far, 6540 have been cured in Delhi with 261 deaths.

India has surpassed China’s official figure of 82,933 confirmed coronavirus cases. India is the 11^th most cases in the world. So far, the USA has the highest number of COVID_19 cases at 1,686,436.
